Each year, over 400 enthusiastic volunteers come together to make the Capitola Art & Wine Festival an unforgettable experience! From pre-event setup to post-event breakdown, traffic control, recycling, staffing booths, checking IDs, and giving artists a well-deserved break, there’s a fun and fulfilling role for everyone.
Volunteering isn’t just about lending a hand — it’s your chance to soak up the energy of the festival, meet amazing people, and be part of a beloved community tradition. Whether you’re with friends or flying solo, you’re sure to make memories (and new friends) along the way.
The Capitola Art & Wine Festival is hosted by the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit dedicated to supporting local businesses and fostering a strong, connected community. As our largest annual fundraiser, this event plays a vital role in sustaining our work year-round. Your time and energy not only support the Chamber’s mission, but also directly benefit local schools and community groups, many of whom handle the behind-the-scenes heavy lifting that makes the festival possible.
