The Capitola Art & Wine Festival is where creativity, community, and coastal charm come together. Hosted and organized by the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce, this treasured annual tradition draws thousands to Capitola for a weekend of fine art, local wine, delicious food, and lively entertainment—all just steps from the beach.
More than a celebration, the festival is a major fundraiser supporting the work of the Capitola-Soquel Chamber—a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization—along with local schools and community groups who help make the magic happen. Their contributions, from hands-on support to behind-the-scenes coordination, are vital to the festival’s success.
It takes a village to bring this event to life—and we’re lucky to have one filled with heart, creativity, and community pride. From the artists and winemakers to the volunteers and organizers, every contribution helps make the festival truly special. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Jacquelyne Sharee Price is a Santa Cruz painter whose work navigates the space between abstraction and psychological landscape. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Painting and has built an independent practice supported by galleries, collectors, and public exhibition.
Price’s paintings explore belonging, instinct, and the integration of opposing inner states. Through layered color fields, gestural mark-making, and spatial tension, her work balances restraint with unpredictability—offering compositions that feel at once peaceful and subtly disorienting. Rather than depicting external environments, her paintings operate as interior terrains, mapping emotional and perceptual experience.
She runs her own art studio gallery in Soquel, California, where she also teaches workshops and develops new bodies of work.
In Jacque’s own words, she describes the purpose and meaning behind her work. “I’m drawn to the wildness that makes us human, and the peace that comes when we honor it. My paintings live in that space—where feeling, instinct, and contradiction meet, and something deeply satisfying emerges because we allowed what is alive in us to speak. I think of my work as inner landscapes: psychological places within that are shaped by sensation over logic.“
